In Andrea, Taalcentrum-VU has found a true linguistic all-rounder. Her studies to date have covered English, multilingualism and language acquisition. She is also a fully qualified teacher of Dutch as a second language and has worked in that sector both as a teacher and a developer. In short, she’s ideally equipped to head up our Language Desk (Taalloket). If you have any questions about language assessment and training, Andrea can definitely help you on your way.

When she’s not hard at work for the Taalcentrum, Andrea finds fulfilment in her love of all things theatrical: acting, directing her own theatre collective and soaking up inspiration as a member of the audience. Besides her fondness of reading and all things linguistic – no surprise there! – she is also a keen music lover.
